![]() I phoned down and asked for the Duty Manager to inspect the room. A few minutes later I received a call from my wife to advise the room smelled badly. This was processed reasonably quickly and my wife went upto the room whilst myself and my son waited in the bar. Having asked for the Duty Manager, an upgrade to a junior suite was offered, which sounded promising. Circa 3.45 I was then advised the room wasn’t available at all by a polite, I grant, check in assistant, although she didn’t seem to grasp the concept of time and delay, nor how any of this may affect a client’s schedule. On arrival the room wasn’t ready, which was fair enough. A regular visitor to London we decided to try this hotel out, making a reservation on 26th July for a family room with two queen beds.
